asanley 1,009
RIP to them all what better way to pay respects to them than beating everton in an FA cup semi final 23 years later share a thought for them on this sad day for liverpool fc I was there that day and among the many bad memories there are some that I treasure , the help and respect off the rank and file south Yorks police , the unbelievable kindness of the people of Sheffield ( in the days before mobile phones almost every house made thier land lines availiable to fans needeing to contact home ) and the compassion of other football fans especially Evertonians , so I didn,t enjoy beating Everton particulary , I just remember how silly it is to get carried away by something as insignficant as a game of football.

MOO 730
I cant believe it was that long ago I remeber the day well as me and a mate were boxing in the scottish finals at the medowbank stadium in Edinburgh and we heard something had happened at hillsburgh as some lads had radios with them for the football scores ...we slept the drive back up north and when we got to my house it was on the news and thats when we realised what a terrible thing had happened ....I was 15 at the time and even at that age it was jaw dropping watching it on the telly RIP THE 96 GOOD TO SEE BOTH SETS OF FANS PAYING THERE RESPECT
