What about the Nikon prostaff 4-12 x 40 .. i see this scope is around the same price range

just got off the with uttings and ordered the nikon pro staff 4-12 x 40 ... Think it will suit all my needs

Not sure about that particular scope, but i use Hawke and Mamba/Lite, and the glass is not a touch on my Pro staf

Just to say i'm very pleased with my new scope ( Nikon prosaff 4-12 x 40 ) .. i can't believe how clear and sharp this scope is compaired to my richter optic scope .. i like the 40mm objective lens better than the 50mm objective lens , it does'nt look some cumbersome sat on my rifle ... Just need some nice weather now so i can zero it in
