auto culto 0
Went out today with the intention of catching a few branchers but spotted none whatsoever, spoke to the farmer and was told that they all took of early about 1 1/2 weeks ago . I'm sure there must be some more that ain't flown yet but i didn't hear any in the nests. Has anyone else noticed them flying early? Anyway all was not lost as i still managed to get a few shot of with the hushpower .410 Quote Link to post

Think you could have been an author, or comedian if you wer'nt such a good trapper, (mink excluded of course). Quote Link to post

auto culto 0
its a bit of a dodgy pic to tell but in the bag was 1 rook, 1 crow 2 jackdaws and a collard dove. There was a further crow and 3 collard doves that came down in large watering hole that looked about a foot deep and very boggy so decided to leave them for the foxes. Still I'm glad i got a few as i need some more bait for the fox trap to which i still haven't had any luck as yet Quote Link to post
Guest Ditch_Shitter
It is a Collared? Oh, bummer! That's a real bummer Means I look like some sort of a c*** ~ nothing new there then. I can live with that ~ but, more to the point, means the natural world, corvid wise, hasn't gone completely out of kilter on us. And there was me hoping for Nutcracker crossed rooks and cinamon jays, all in one days worth. Hey ho. No wonder ye never made a song and dance about it. Thay might have provided me with a clue  Ye dead right though; It is a dodgy shot to tell from. One of those flukes of angle and light, I s'pose? Oh well. Another one bites the dust.
