A good evening.

Last night i was talking to a farmer whos land i shoot , He was telling me that there is a few deer about again, well i drove past today and in one field alone i counted 11 roe deer, so was on the phone to STALKER and asked if he fancied a look about this evening to which i got the reply , of course, you say a time , So it was arranged i pick him up at 5.30. So 5 .20 off i set to pic up STALKER as he only lives 5 mins away, after being licked to death by his bedlington terrier we loaded up the truck , on ariving at the farm we could clearly see 3 roe deer at the bottom of one of the fields enjoying the evening sun , so equiped we set off , keeping low to the hedge and moving very slowly we got close enough for STALKER to make out it was 2 does and 1 buck, now the position we were in there was no clear shot so STALKER sugested we slowly move to our right towards a oak tree , as we slowly made our way we seen one doe look straight at us ,so motionless we stood , seemed a long time but probably no more than about 50 seconds , The doe then carried on with enjoying the sun, we reached the oak tree and STALKER took a look through the bins , told me he was happy it was a safe shot, The buck was about 185 yrds away.

 

 

He placed his sticks and crack thud ,buck dropped where he was , then i happen to look up the other end of the field to see another 5 roe deer heading towards the top hedge ,one being a very nice buck who will come another day , so in total there were 8 in the one field this evening , they realy do like this spot for some reason , anyway a very good productive evening was has , so thanks to my mate STALKER , and im sure we will return.
