i dont follow why antis would stage this?are you saying theyd steal the dogs then kill them then leave their bodies for someone to find and then claim it was the owners who did it?

no i think the dogs werent winning owt and like all greys if theyre not earning anything then get rid.... the cheaper the better.theyre expendable.

im not commenting on wither its right or wrong to shoot the greyhounds but if it had to be done it should of been done more discreetly the bodies buried and not just dumped for members of the public to fine !

The people that were responsible for doing this are wrong and only bringing attention on everyone in the country that keeps trackers or coursers as every greyhound that is reg with the igb will probably now be monitored and questions will be asked as to there whereabouts and how and where they were pts.When a gh reaches a certain age unless it is a stud dog or brood bitch it is no longer profitible to keep and feed so there is only one end to it.People have been puting dogs down themselves for years as vet charges have gone completely mad and with the current drop in prize money and sales in the greyhound market money is tight for greyhound owners,as anyone that keeps them will know the cost of rearing them to racing age and then they fail to make the grade.I dont think for 1 minute this was the work of anti's,it was some irresponcible fools who just were too lazy to dispose of the dogs properely and now they have made the headlines it will probably f**k it up for all other gh men.
