It does cover the collie beddy bull influence , but it also has chapters on history , form and function etc , not really your hunting stories , anacdotes type of book , I cant recommend it highly enough .

Cheers for that book title. The sellers on amazon got 0% for reliability, though. Did you get it from the company threesticks? Looks a good book, if it actually arrives that is!

I was disappointed in the The World of the Lurcher: it contained numerous photos that have already been seen in previous lurcher books, and really just re-hashed most of what has been said before. I suppose if you haven't read all the other lurcher books ever published then it is worth a read, and fairly informative in that case.

Sounds an interesting read  but although I'm ready to take a risk with the company selling it they've just told me they don't ship to Spain :censored:

Cheers, though, I'll keep a look out on other sites

Sarcastic ME !!! no not at all mate , as I said its not your exciting tales from the field kind of book , its more for anyone who has an interest in the history and make up of the running dog , it would be knowledgable man who didn,t learn something from this book , an excellent read by a man who knows his dogs .
