most birds dopnt eat for a bit if there down for the moult and are at fat weight,just skip a day it will be fine,ive had a female that never eat for 6 days at the molt as long as there moving about ok it will be fine

ok mate , i never put any food in for a couple of days and then some chick and hes ok , i weighed him and he is well fat , was flying him at 1-5 and he just short of 2 llb now ive been giving him some liver as im still waiting for quail Edited April 16, 2012 by mickmck

When giving him the good stuff ,quail.rat.phez extra don't give them.all in one go say a quailcut.it up into a third and make the rest up in dock this way the good stuff last u longer.the best thing is leaving them alone when at fat weight ,solitary is the key
