Mark White 25
I believe they get worms like every thing else but they would eat not store I had a hob do this to me a few years ago I feed it raw egg and put a little salt in the water and gave this through a pro-pit but any thing will do as long as you get it to eat after about 5 days it started to feed again. I would say take it to the vets to get them checked out as it is something in both as with mine the other were fine. Quote Link to post

derbylad1 293
Firstly ferrets don't get worms as their digestive tract works to fast. Secondly, most ferrets lose weight and fur at this time of year. If you are overlyconcerned, then get them to the vets, cost means nothing for your stinkers health mate. Quote Link to post

The one 8,482
Unless they really are skin and bones i think your worrying unnecessary i like mine to be a little bit over in the winter as there working a full day or even loosing them for a day or more they have the fat reserves to cover it and during the winter if there no working there sleeping . But during the summer the hobs only have there mind on shagging and being the summer time mine are eating less , and are active all the time prowling the run and scratching the wire all the time and in the winter they have thick heavier coats but moult out in the summer time to thinner coats which can give the appearance of being skinny ,but saying all that have you checked there teeth ?.
