Bitch lab in season

Hi guys my friend has a 3 yr old black lab bitch and thinks she is coming into season. Could this cause her to start growling at people? She is usually very placid and gentle? Hes only had her 3 weeks.

Wouldnt suprise me. I've seen bitches do strange things when they come in heat. Im sure she'll be fine when she gos out again.

I couldn't see a bitch growling at people in season even with all them hormones raging, i could accept if it was at bitches as my lab gets grumpy with my other bitches, but if he's only had her three weeks I would ask why the other owner got rid- three weeks is about right for a bitch to find her feet and settle in

 

But I could be wrong wouldn't be first time

Shouldn't be growling at people, sounds to me like its got some issues? Why did they dog get passed on at 3 years off age? It wouldn't be growling at me anyway thats for sure......
