People who describe themselves as Catholic or Protestant but the only time they set foot in a Church or Chapel is for weddings of funerals. The only thing religion will teach you to practice is hate. Undisputed you would class yourself as a Roman Catholic? I take it you are therefore a Christian? Sectarianism goes beyond religion this is a societal problem especially in Scotland & Northern Ireland....what does it matter what I class myself as? The whole history of Irish Catholisism in Scotland is something that people don't want to talk about. A whole culture has been assimilated and supressed because of their origins.....what exactly are the British establishment afraid off when their Monarchy are forbidden by Law to marry a Catholic....On top of that you had the CoS apoligising a few years back for the comments made from the pulpits about Catholics in Scotland......you asked what I class myself as....I class myself as someone who thinks that individuals should be judged on their merits not because of whatever faith they are born into or chose to follow...the Christain ethos is about turning the other cheek and forgiveness...two things sadly lacking in our society today. SH I'm no expert in the old firm, my observations are based on years of attending old firm matches home and away.....I sit in the section below the Green Brigade I know where the singing comes from....The numerous away matches at Ibrox I know where the singing comes from....I don't need the TV or a biased newspaper to tell me what I hear with my own ears or see with my own eyes.....if Ibrox or Parkhead are the conduits for all this hate and intolerance maybe its time the whole corrupt system came crashing down and everyone became a Jedi.
