silentshot1 206
Honestly... Springers feel more 'part' of me and the enjoyment is greater. That said, if you need an impressive bag in front of a cull thirsty land owner, then the silenced PCP will do a far quicker job. Quote Link to post
davyt63 1,845
hi I shoot both like many on here! I have a BSA Meteor .22 which is a plinking gun and I have lots of fun with it,nice groups at 40yds with iron sights I have a AAS410K .177 & HW100T .177 which I use for rats and rabbits and any other air rifle quarry, these two I do most of my scope cam shooting with. I have a AATX200HC .177 which I only use for H.F.T competition, and came 5th in my first major comp, southern hunter series. I also have a HW97KT .22 which at the moment I am deciding on what to use it for, I may use it this summer for some pigeon & rabbit control, and just a general all type fun air rifle. I also have a BSA scorpion spring pistol, this i use for ratting at close range! so as you can see apart from one rifle, they all have there needs! and as said above you cant beat getting 2 quarry with a spring loaded rifle,no matter the cal so there's my input, but would love to try a gas ram rifle PS. I must update my profile signature regards Davy Quote Link to post
