bobcullen79 1,495 Posted April 23, 2012 Report Share Posted April 23, 2012 Its the escapism for me, being in the middle of nowhere. Got into it aged 10 with a few mates. There was feck all to do in Liverpool, if you didnt like football, and quite a lot of mates brothers were into all types of hunting, but would never let us tag along. But, there was one bloke who would let us take his fox dog out, so as soon as one of us was allowed a ferret, that was us out every day ferreting, fishing, air gunning and egging. Looking back, we did some miles as kids, I can still almost feel what its like to still be miles from home with a grumbly belly. Ah, them was the days... Quote Link to post
