Phantom 631
Does the 'blurb' actually sound like it was written by an English person? Nope! There are both genuine and fakes on ebay, sometimes you will actually come across a genuine scope that has been sold as a 'slight second' because it didn't quite meet quality control like my MK4. It has a slight blemish in the optical coating, but that little blemish only proves a minor problem when shooting into the light (late sun set and early sun rise or towards street lights etc) More than worth the grand reduction in price Tony Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
As far as I can find out from the Bushnell website, they do not make a 56mm Banner scope.... 50mm is as high as they go! Edited April 9, 2012 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
Bess & Nell 1
Okay cheers lads, its actually got Bushnell written on the scope aswell...must be a fake. Thought the ad looked a bit dodgy Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Yes, screen printing is cheap you know, I cannot find a 56mm scope in the Banner range still! Quote Link to post
Bess & Nell 1
What about this one, is this a genuine decent scope? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nikko-Mountmaster-3-9x50-Parallax-Illuminated-Rifle-Scope-3-8-Mount-Rings-/230757916192?pt=UK_SportingGoods_Hunting_ShootingSports_ET&hash=item35ba3e5e20#ht_8230wt_1036 Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Got the Bushnell Europe page up, this is the Airgun scope range, look at all the sizes of the banner range and magnifications.... http://www.bushnelloutdoorproducts.eu/www_bushnell/eu/produits/all/riflescopes/banner/ The Nikko advert seems a lot better! AR177 588
i think the problem you are going to have is all your links start with www.ebay.co.uk .. .. .. and if it seems too good to be true to get a good scope at such a low price i think it probably is.. .. to get a good scope your probably going to have to fork out good scope prices also you should try them out before you fork out for them. If you do buy one let me know how it goes i have scanned through a lot of the shooting paraphernalia on ebay but not purchased anything yet. Quote Link to post
