Exactly what went wrong was…. a tiny unrepresentative minority of mindless individuals treated their quarry with a complete lack of respect and did so in a very public manner. They created an image of

Earth, I disagree. There's lads on here and other websites that give a lot of information about themselves and when this is combined with the lies that the antis and media make up it get's them lads i

mr craven delibratly keeps saying badger baiting this badger baiting that, yes it was outlawed 150 odd years ago. but digging badgers with terriers is not badger baiting. even the rspca inspector kept

Don't comment if you don't know the fella or what the raids were for or about.

The lad never goes on here, dont post pictures and ain't a show man like most on here, he's just a normall lad who has been bullied and harassed by the r.s.p.c.a.

Most people on here are to busy on there computers to have his mis fortune to be in his situation in such a police state, because they never work a dog, Lurcher or terrier.

I'll say no more about this now.

well said mate, the lad does more with his dogs than most, just been very unlucky

It fills up his slot in the program without him doing too much work. He Throws in a "barbaric" or "bloodlust" and the public are on the edge of thier seat. But some amongst us have brought this upon us all, with thier stupid acts, because they are idiots of the highest order. There are old copies of digging books on ebay,go and look, that tell of a time when good guys went digging. If all terrier men had stuck to the rules would we be were we are now?

done it before, cravens first sentence was `with the upcomming badger cull` and then proceded with badger baiting this, and badger baiting that. another case of the public funded bbc getting involved in politics again

With no governing body or anyone to answer to the rspca seem to be a law unto themselves which is quite a scary thought considering the reasons why they are taking lurchers and terriers from honest folk.

Spot on fella. This programme was just a propaganda plug for the RSPCA, a veiled, disguised reminder to the general public who spend a few minutes a week walking their dogs in the countryside that if you see lads with terriers/lurchers, then they're up to no good! Craven has to have something to do in the programme, all sensationalised with a few recent photos and lots of old clips. If you legitamately dig fox, then this programme was aimed at you, so make sure you have written permission and everything's above board.

Unfortunately the negative BBC bias raises its head again. I really wish they would keep their noses out of things they don't understand or at least research the items properly. Badger DIGGING could be an effective and highly selective method of control of badgers related to culling but no one could ever consider this with the level of misunderstanding directed at this method of control, particularly when this sort is sensationalism is pushed out by the main TV channels on a Sunday evening!!!!

And that russell and them two bull lurchers didn't have scares from badgers looks like work of a fox

Which is also illegal in England, think before you post.

Which of the above is illegal, the fox work with a terrier certainly isnt as long as you have permission and are protecting gamebirds

The only quarry which you're legally entitled to take with a lurcher in England & Wales are rats and rabbits (Hunting Act 2004).

Ok Rabbiting man, your aware of the law. Then why did you suggest that the lad who got a visit has broke the law with his lurchers ?

This is excactly what's wrong with the inter-net. People write badly worded posts that incriminate themselves and others. Some idiots put up graphic photos. Some write graphis details.

Let's face it. The antis etc. don't even have to get their hands or feet dirty anymore. They just have to sit beside a computor and the fools who keep terriers and lurchers do their work for them.

I'm not saying every poor fellow who get's a visit is on the WWW but in the last few years every bit of rubbish in the media that is against our sport seems to start from information first gathered on the inter-net.
