J.DOG 1,355
I look at the whole litter I first scan over the litter looking for an alert pup that looks steady and that stands out to me personally I.e colour ,size, sex ect , if there is a pup i like I ask what sex it is and pick the pup up to see how it reacts to me , I want to see the pup being comfortable around me ( well socialised ) then I take a quick look at it's teeth , I check it's feet , ears, eyes , and take a quick look for any fleas. I do an overall body check looking for any obvious irregularities . I like to interact with the pup and see how it interacts with the other pups to see how confident it is.
