Been doing a fair bit of mooching/ bushing lately so I went for a wee mooch this morning at first light, I was about 2 miles into it and had nearly reached my usual smoke break place, anyways Cass the whippet gives a wee bunny a chase around a corner and out of sight, when I turned the corner she was standing doon a banking marking a bush at the opposite side from me so naturaly I walk over and start beating the bush with my feet,,,,ended up arse over tit doon a hole, feckin shit myself one leg doon the hole and the other caught up in the brambles ootside the hole and kindae doing the splits, I did manage eventualy to untangle myself and lift myself oot I think I was quite lucky to escape with only a few scratches

 

so remember girls and boys always try to take your mobile with you because accidents do happen, be safe

Lol, reminds me of an accident I had last summer. I was just walking by a dyke through the entrance of a field and my foot went and my whole body instantly turned upside down.... Once I had stopped fighting I realised I had fallen through a broken part of a big brick culvert going under the field entrance and my legs had gotten caught in the roots etc hanging me upside down in the nettles and other crap! f**k me I've never had such bad stings ever, but lucky I got caught in the roots otherwise I would have been in the water. Shits you up a bit...

Also on a more serious note, I know a person who lost a springer in a brick drain exactly like that...... the drain was full of water, the dog fell in and drowned before it was found...

When I was stuck doon the hole wondering how to get out I started worrying about Cass, at the bottom of the banking where she was standing is a country road with the odd car belting up and doon, She would,ve stood oan that road forever waiting on the bunny bolting lol

My inlaws lost their springer some years back on a caravan site in liconshire that way an horrible way for any dog to go.

Reminds me a bit of when I was walking along the road and there was this tidy wee burd on the other side, so there I was giving her the eye, her looking at me, me smiling at her.............next thing I'm up to my waist in water! Some dirty b*****d had moved the red plastic barrier and the pavement had been dug up! I stayed down there for a full 5 minutes till I was sure she was away!
