Thinking about getting a hob kit and getting it V-ed in the future and was wondering at what age are they old enough to have the op ?

Had mine done just before he was a year old.Takes about 6 weeks for his parts to stop working and hes good to go then.Hope ive helped you.

At what age would a kit be sexually active ? How long could I house him with jills till it would pose a risk off impregnating them ?

as soon as the daylight hours increase the kitts will come into season, soon as ye thin they are due, seperate them unless ye want kitts

as soon as he comes into season, if he was born last summer he will be able to produce kitts this summer

Ok thanks , planning on getting a hob and having it v-ed to keep the jills sorted , and wasn't sure weather to get an adult and have it done as soon as I had it , or get a kit and get it done when it was old enough , rather the idea of a kit , and if I can have it done in it's first year shouldnt have to separate them much

I had a last year Kit done, the Vet said he had to be 6 Months, so he was snipped at this age, he went to the Jill last week 7 wks after the op, if op has been a failure will let you know.
