As always, Chirk was a great day out today, its the one show I really hate to miss, cracking location, great turn out, cracking dogs and most of all very well run. Well done the lads of The North Wales T&L Club. :victory:

great show, weather was brill . Some real nice dogs there lurchers+ terriers , had the crack with few of the lads. Had 2 lamb burgers were great , had a go at showing me and trigger2 (jon) with Bryn and his young dog Buster , no good not racey enough :laugh: as most lurcher show always go for racey types, i tell Bryn that when gests his next rabbit lol . Nice to see vin there as well, real good day hope its as good next year :thumbs:

Great day Ray...Weather was gorgeous.. Some nice looking dogs today..good to meet a few of the lads off here aswell.

Excellent day out, I think I've even caught the sun :icon_redface:

 

Good turnout too, as B11 said, one of the best days for me, and dead local now too.

would like to thank all the judges and steward's for doing a cracking job today at the show. yet another cracking chirk show some very nice working terriers ,lurchers and hounds thanks to everyone who turned out and made the show a success

Most likely because you were verry adamant that you did not want to hold a sighthound class on so i did not bother with my 3

And you had said that greyhounds are not working dogs on the phone last year and that whippets were much better!

Trust me we have never spoke on the phone...maybe another member of the club. im not a lurcher/sighthound kind of guy....they shit too much for my liking.

with that attitude you shuldn't have a dog who cleans yur shit up!

A great day and a near record attendance.... some fantastic looking dogs... and some great people... A big thank you to everyone who attended..

      QUALIFIERS are available to GB SHOW ORGANISERS for the following CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS
                                                     at the IRISH GAME FAIR, Shanes Castle, Antrim on the 29/30 June.
      1. FIVE NATIONS WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIP
      2. FIVE NATIONS LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIP
      3. FIVE NATIONS TERRIER CHAMPIONSHIPS
      4. MASTER MC GRATH LURCHER CHALLENGE  Two dogs to qualify from each show ( over and under 23")
      5. MICK THE MILLER CHALLENGE for Traditional HAIRY LURCHERS any size. Two to qualify from each show. 
      EACH CHAMPIONSHIP HAS £200 to the Winner £50 to the Runner Up plus other prizes and quality trophies.   As the 31st ANNUAL All Ireland Championships ( Showing & Racing) also take place this weekend ( which are open all ) qualifiers can have a real opportunity to compete for titles and prizes with the best of Irish dogs. 
      To recognise the additional costs of coming to the event for GB qualifiers, they get FREE tickets to the show and special ferry and accommodation rates and each GB qualifying event organiser gets £50 for their best in show winner. 
      To apply for your show to host qualifiers email me at irishcountrylifestyle@btinternet.com. Qualifiers will be awarded on a 'first come first served' basis.
