Jan Dewinter.

 

For those of you who are interested follows a short résumé of his “dog career”

 

Born in Africa, Jan Dewinter, knows exactly which traits are necessary for a true working dog, whether it be a working Molosser like the Boerboel, a lurcher or a working terrier.

He grew up amongst working dogs, his father being one of the leading breeders of working farm dogs in Europe today.

Through his insatiable interest and thirst for knowledge he has become” an understanding” in the working dog world , giving seminars worldwide.

 

His judging career spans two continents where he has judged Strong Dogs (working Molossers), lurchers and all breeds of working terriers.

As a breeder he has won the prestigious title of Best Brood Bitch at the Amercan Nationals amongst a field of 3000 participants. He has also won National titles in Germany , the Netherlands, Belgium and Sweden, these too numerous to mention.

 

His affiliation with Boerboels goes back to 1998 when he worked alongside the then SABT European representative. He has a thorough understanding and knowledge of dogs , including Boerboels.

He has worked in an advisory capacity to various Boerboel breeders.

 

Jan Dewinter is a jewel in the dog world as he is willing to share his knowledge with all that are interested.

he had a black bitch when i met him last year... but then we went to the pub and cant remember a word he told me a nice racy bullx he had too

Greedy feck lol ....little terrier only show we have at a pub car park.... I look forward to it every year... But takes me 2 days to get over it :-)
