got my jill paired up 2 weeks ago she has come out of season but im not sure weather she is pregnant becase she has not gained any weight????

gestation is 42 days so plenty of time yet to start showing would be conserned if she wasnt showing two weeks from the end each ferret is different like all living things going to have to wait im afraid

If she has come out of season and you have put her with a proven hob its more than likley, wont realy show till around 3 - 4 weeks, getting bigger and loosing hair around the tail etc.

Far too early to be putting on weight ,you wont notice till the last week when she looks likely to burst

First sign of a jill being pregnant is between 4(nearer 5) weeks when she will shed her coat prior to dropping the kits at 6weeks after mating

ive not bread a litter in years but if i remember right there was no sign of her being pregnant until the last week when she ballooned up and was fit to burst !

Each to their own but mine usualy show around 4 weeks and drop on the 40th Day and have had litter two days ago, 7 Kits all ok and Mum doing well.
