Using rifle sights on a shotgun to sort cross over sight?

Recommended Posts

Don’t know if this has been mentioned before but I’ve shot for years with scoped airguns and been a good shot and pellet on pellet with my HW100k. BUT I’m left handed and now shoot with a shotgun and find it hard to hit much. I’ve just tried the eye dominance test and find I’m a left-handed shooter with right eye dominance. The Hatsan escort I’ve just bought has sight mounts and the question is has anyone shot a shotgun using rifle sights?

any tips welcomed its doing my head in......

i shoot with one eye shut as do a fair few lads i know,,good shots anall. there is no need to keep both eyes open. shoot quick and instinctivly. sometime shooting both eyes open will hinder you. and slow your natural flow and swing down.. close one eye.pick up the pace and you will hit more.
