Mez 11
To my knowledge, there is a breeder down south that sells them, but purely in my opinion, they have been "manufactured" with other breeds and arent like the Yamato Gunkei of Japan or even Europe.. Ive been on the lookout for a while, but only know of one or two people with decent birds. Edited April 5, 2012 by Mez
Tuzo 251
It is believed that the vast majority of European Yams are not pure.

Tuzo 251
Depends if you remove them..........leave them under her and she will drop on around 8-10. The sure way of getting a hen to drop is to take the cock away, within a week she will usually go broody. This was suggested to me and I have found it true in my birds, so before any gobalots jump on my back this is just MY experience.
