shock collar

can any one tell me a good make of remote collar as cant cope with constant whinin any more.bought a cheap one for an am bull years ago and it didnt do anything

pac dog but take some advice of them 1st mate they will probably tel ya the best way to do this as ya carnt just put them on and shock away pal they have to be introduced with a dummy collar so they don't think its the collar and play up [bANNED TEXT] they don't have it on if ya get my drift. they are in the country mans weekly buddy but i would take advice 1st mate atb G

 

If you follow the instructions the sporting dog rechargable are spot on, after one or two shocks you will maybe never need to shock them again, as soon as they hear the tone they will be quiet even if they dont have collar on!

 

Mine are pretty good but if for any reason the being noisey I hang coller up in kennel and make it beep, every dog in kennel shuts up, I use my collars regular and not one of my dogs has had a shock for over 6 months, as soon as they feel the collar on them or hear it they dont put a foot wrong.

you can buy something called an aboistop collar it doesnt shock the dog it emits a spray of citronella.its humane painless effective and theres no side effects unlike a shock collar,which incidentally has been banned in wales.the cheapest method of training to stop barking or whining is to get a childs water piston or a jif lemon(one thats been emptied and refilled with water)and every time the dog barks or whines give him a quick spray.this doesnt hurt him and doesnt cause behavioural issues which shock collars can .imho they shouldnt be sold to the public only to animal behaviourists

Try and catch a dog 50yards away giving its toes after a rabbit, and spray it with a jiff lemon.

how about some constructive advice if your so knowledgable ?

she gets walked and played with shes well fed ,quite boistress .

she doesnt like not knowing where everyone is so she whines if one of us is in another room or if she knows im in the garden she goes mental .if were away from the house shes ok as far as i know.early morning she starts pipin up ,she whines for a couple of hrs a day.

tried leavin her outside but she hates that .and sets half the dogs on the street off.

apart from this shes a crackin bitch

 

 

some varied replys lol used spray bottle for some training and worked ok ,but could do with something that doesnt come directly from me .

might look into the spray collar.

this has gone on for a while now and this is the last resort to try sort something .

before anyone says out that doesnt mean " or else shes off " i just need to try a new angle to sort it out
