birddog you show lads are so touchy ...the lad with the lab x is a friend of mine ...its waht we call craic ........as for puting effort in lets see if you put as much effort into grafting your dog..... as you put plenty of miles into chaseing that specail red white and blue rossette ....im only 15 mins away from you so when i get back we could have a walk out with no hard feelings and I will show you just how much effort i put in

'show lads' ? 36 days / nights in a row one of my bitches (she was at 4 shows last year) caught this winter,, I was tempted to say just how many she'd caught but best not to on here. I know the effort you put in when your home we have many mutual friends but please don't tar me with the show lads thing.I've seen the pics of your dog posing with rosettes and you work your dogs when your home. The guys that put on these shows do it for all of us, I didn't see many if any at all dogs at the kelvin valley that didn't show some signs of work you don't need to be a show lad or have only show ponies to support and enjoy these events. I put in the miles for a day out with old pals (the family enjoy them too) and like minded guys, sure its good to get the odd prize but it's certainly not the be all.

bird dog I have not slagged the show in any way so i dont know why you are trying to justify the show to me .....you are correct I did win a rossette or 2 but seen shows for what hey realy are and the damage it has done to working dogs and men but I there is good when it comes to raiseing funds for charity or a hunt ....like ive said big fella i will give you a shout when im back from the far east and we can have a walk out with the tykes I have plenty of permission.

As for mutal friends if you are on about the lad JS ...... he is not clever enough to be in this game and is an accident waiting to happen and all persons involved with him will come crashing down with him
