What does it say on the official police document and reciept that the police issued when they confiscated your car?

They must have reason to believe an offence has been commited to confiscate your car.

Did they check out your insurance, licence and identity details at the roadside and did everything come back okay? If so, what was the reason you where given for the taking of your vehicle?

I live near Corbridge and I drive and walk around the area every day and most nights. I have an allotment in the area, and allways have the dogs in the car, and usualy my lamping gear. I've never had a pull yet, but if they were to stop me and try to take my motor for no reason, I'd be straight onto a brief and the Police Complaints Commission ! Surely they can't have a leg to stand on if all your documents were in order and you wern't actualy lamping, or had any ilegal game in the car ????

Cheers.

true mate, unless they catch you taking game, or with game in your motor they carnt take your car. Its just like saying you want to take your dog for a walk what ever the breed at midnight, and i know few people who do,a mate worked 2-10pm , so used take his dog gsdxcollie for a walk about midnight regular and drive there. Ive been stopped by them 4am , unless as i say above they carnt take your car,!! this carnt be the full story
