The Duncan 802
Any all good natured avoid the obvious bull x's but I like the deerhound x myself have a 2 year old who rags my dog all over and he just takes it even let's him sleep on him . So I would say deer/grey x whip not necessarily so - my 3/8 bull x gets on pretty well with 8 cats and 3 other dogs. Introduced as a pup, they soon learn the rules on hunting pack members/house members lol! Funnily enough, outside the home, Roxy obviously wants to hunt other cats and any other prey sized animals. moonlighter 1,164
I would steer away from saluki and bull types. Try and find a line of lurcher to lurcher, where the parents and off spring are all similar. That way you can see what yours will hopefully turn out like Quote Link to post

bracken boy 584
apart from the hunting ive found most lurchers soft and happy, just introduce them into your family with ease and my whipp x is now so loving and loves being all snuggled up and still keeps his eye on all the rabbits, Quote Link to post
