And so it begins !! ffs

Is your Hob Catholic ?? if do he might pull out at the last minute and not get them up the duff!!, or on the other hand, if the Hob is Irish, he`ll shag her once and she`ll have 36 kitts !

Grow up for gods sake, did you not get biology at school! or have you not got to 2nd year yet!.

Wind yer neck in huffy !!

It`s simple biology, if you let him shag them they will get pregnant!! you know about that right !????

If you want them taken out of season there are a few methods.

Get the jill jab done at the vets

Get a Hob and get him VASECTOMISED,, not castrated, that way he can hump them all summer with no kitts and they all get brought out of season.

Breed them ( NOT ADVISABLE) until you have a need for ferrets and the experience to deal with kitts

You can leave them in season, Plenty will say you can, but I`ve kept ferrets 23 yrs and I prefer not to, they are prone to infection and also if left in season they are prone to Anemia which can be fatal.

If they are in season now, then make sure they are kept VERY clean OK

That better !?? lol

f**k sake not everyone is expert ferreters like some of you think you are, im 16 and only started ferreting a couple of months back i dont know a lot bout them, thanks for the advice i wont ask next time.

If you search around there are plenty of websites that give loads of info...just do a search

here's one for example...

It's always best to read up about an animal before you get one!

Please don't breed, there are far too many ferrets in rescue's as there are, don't need adding to it.

I have one spayed Jill, One Castrated Hob, and one Jill who is Jill Jabbed though will prob will also be spayed next year. Research into what is best for your animals. Vets don't come cheap so it's best to also consider this before getting a pet than have to drop it off at a rescue as your unable to take responsibility for it any more.

People on here don't always mean to be rude but if you searched into past topics on this forum before you got your ferrets people wouldn't have to answer the same question a hundred times every spring....
