miroku moocher 140
i believe all corvids are sharp eyed oppertunists. all will and do predate eggs and nestling's of other birds. i shoot em all ''no exceptions on species or time of year. i'v been lucky enough one morning to shoot all 5 legal species of corvid ,carrion crow, rook, jackdaw, magpie and jay'''i was buzzin lol. i'v shot 3 or 4 species in one session many times. but that mornin i got a full house.. Ratsmasher 36
its a myth that rooks are nest robbers. Thats the crows n magpies job. Out of interest duncan, do you have a biology related career, or areyou just an expert on corvids? I've always had a deep affinity for the natural world since I could walk, talk and read. I like to know what I'm culling and why I'm culling it - keeps me on very stable moral ground when I head out with a gun or rifle good on you too many people these days seem to shoot without really having any interest about its benefits the the ecosystem and its wider effects Quote Link to post
