like someone else said, docking!!! i knew a bloke who docked his terriers with his teeth, i was a kid at the time so i can't remember if he took his teeth out and done it that way

well glue is certainly better than cattle crimps which is the way a lot of them were done

I was wondering if anyone knows about how long it takes to get the ears to stay down. My 6 month old fell's ears are perked up, I have been using a very strong tape with a small weight on the tip of the ear, I leave it on for 2 to 3 weeks at a time but within a day or two they perk back up. I do not care looks wise but wanting them down for when she goes to ground to keep the dirt out.

JMHO but it's a big pity when such rubbish is spoken about a working breed.

Pity some folk wouldn't stick to there Poodles and I never seen a fox yet that wouldn't bolt because a terrier had pricked ears or a pink nose.

my dogs never had problems really except on the last dig when wither a tooth or a root cut inside his perked ear
