talpa or talpax any preference?

Got a few talpa mole traps but need some more and have also seen the talpax. Do any of you who use mole traps all the time have a preference for either of the above, which look the same apart from the squeeze grips.

I prefer the talpex, i feel personally that they have got more power compared to the talpa traps that i have got or perhaps my talpa are not genuine but copys, but i except the fact they are easier to set but in my experience lack the killing power of the talpex, i have caught in tapla traps but i prefer talpex or trapline traps for my mole control.

I use the Talpex (genuine).I havent tried the 'Talpa',but i understand from others,that it can also be effective against moles.Ive learned since handling the talpex,that it has a stronger spring than any other mole trap,i have used.This is no bad thing,because if you place them CORRECTLY in a mole run,its then a swift demise for old moley.I also taught myself how to set the trap itself,with the minimum of effort.(this is easier said than done,when you first handle one!) Im also grateful to a wise old owl who goes by the name of ' ROLFE ' . His method of installing the trap,produces great results.

There exactly the same. The talpa were made just to make it easier to set them up. I prefare the talpex simply because there not on display as much and are abit easier to hide than the talpex, golfers are a pain in the arse and remove traps and chuck them.. Always buy traps from decent companys to many shitey made traps on the market. Bought some trapline traps recently and there brilliant , easy to set, easy to catch and havent let me down yet.
