I couldn't imagine one day waking up and thinking 'right, im going to get a jrt, a couple of bedlingtons and a saluki. So I'll get rid of the loyal dogs I've got and get a fresh batch in, until I change plans again...'

bitch is forsale purely because my uncle bitch is a toper kills hares field or fen and buddy is chucking quaity stuff!!! seen me uncle bitch run for 3 seasons now and is avery good bitch, ive also got a 22m old bitch in my other pen that has killed alot of hares on the fens this season and was her first season,i only have 2 pens and live on a nice estate so dont want loads of dogs in the pens winging,so i made the decition to sell this bitch could be a massive mistake!! we run the fens twice a week every week from oct till end of feb dogs are our life, and just sumtimes when you think sumthing special is coming you have to make a choice and mine was to sell this bitch,is that ok with you???

Why not just have one "Buddy" pup off your uncle and keep the bitch ? She's only 10 month old, so couldn't even have been tested yet.

Sorry if it started a bit of a slanging match, not my intention mate and I wish you all the best and better still for the dog.

My take as a shooter as well as dog pack owner is; if I didn't get on with a rifle, I'd get a variation on my fac and change it. I just feel dogs being flesh and blood, with attachment to their owners (love? thats another subject altogether) shouldn't be treated the same.

As I said, all the best to dog and new owner!

 

Ps, if no-one comes forward with £400, I've just lost a faithful dog and there's room in my pack again for a valued member
