Puma rifle combos

Just seen an advert offering a .22lr puma rifle, plus scope, mod, bag etc for £325.

 

I was going to get a CZ but at that price I can't help but do a double take.

 

Anyone used one? What did you think?

the new models of puma are very good with the actions being a copy of the cz 452 i do believe they have the same barrels aswell, the older ones were very poor. the metal to metal machine finishing on the actions was bad and needed alot of finishing of to get smooth. they have sorted this now, you can get them cheaper than you have seen them aswell, for a man with a tight budget who doesnt want to go down the secondhand cz route then they are an option.

ive got a style had it years but if money is tight the puma comes with a 12 month warentee in most cases a second hand cz does not

I was gonna buy new!

After that, the scope, mod etc I was wondering about the puma...

its a bit of a shame i have just sold a 2 year old american in as new condition in the box with all the paper work, moderator, scope and sling for £250

I've only known 2 people who bought Pumas and both traded up asap. They may have improved and a warranty is good, but what a ball-ache having to claim on a warranty.

Personally, I wouldn't entertain one.

Thats a keen price on your American Rich M, what have you got/are you getting in its place?

it was a spair sort of, brought it for my son but he never uses it, also sold a ruger.17 rimmy for 200 and a remington .17cf for 150, have had a proper clean out over the last few weeks and made a load of room for new stuff!!.
