A quick outing

Recommended Posts

Dicided to try a change of mounts today went from high to mediums so had to go get it zero'd, went to one of my permissions and had it zerod in 5 shots, wasnt far out, had a quick wander round and first to fall at around 40yds was a woodie pottering around on the field, with that in the bag i headed back to the car, on route spotted rabbit 30yrds with a cuple young running around it but didnt bother them as there for my dogs on that ground dont realy shoot them where there runable with the dog, not 100yds from the moter a corvid at around 30yrds sitting along the fence line so steadyd the rifle on the gate and give it a aa diablo field to the head. So was pleased with the quick scoot around. Thinking of getting rid of her for a hw100 but now im thinking of getting a regulator fitted to the s410 instead

Sorry to ask, but if you fit a regulator won't that invalidate the warranty on your air arms. Only asking ,because I've got a410 .it's only year old and when I bought it ,the bloke gave a full up rating system ,hammer springs, rubber seals, grub screws the lot .but reading on hear and AA owners club it seems that doing this can cause problems, if you ever have to send it back.

Only a years warranty with them and

Mines up by 2 months. Im still toying with the idea as i mainly only shoot throughout the summer and work dogs in the winter so the gun is not used that often, i was going to polish the hammer and rail myself but not sure if to take the alloy at out myself or send it to air arms for £90 to be serviced as 2 month back it was running at 10.71 ft lbs with aa fields but it had stood for 6 months without being used but now ive put a few pellets through it shes now putting 11,3 out so just thaught polish the hammer / rail might bring it up to a tad, not botherd if it doesnt as 11.3 is more than enough to place shots on a pin head at 30- 40 yrds

Cheers for that , yeah I was thinking of going down the DIY route ,as I only paid £300 for the gun, scope, bag 4 tins of AA pellets and a hills pump .The guns only 6months old " the guy was a lottery winner and got board after 2weeks ".But all I'm worried about is the warranty,so if it only lasts a year I might wait.

Ring air arms up and give them the serial number on the gun and they will tell u if warranty on it still, and thats a deal and a half there mate i paid nearly 800 for gun scope and pump, new wish id got secondhand one but somtimes you dont know if your taking on some one elses problem. Good luck with it mate
