smithie 2,443
depends when you past your test and if its the 2 part test i dont think you can pull a trailor over 750kg and a combined vehicle and trailor weight of 3.5 ton.. if you go on the dvla website it will explain everything there

donnyc 1,203
Dont think you can tow a trailer at all regardless of weight ..Young lad at Kennels couldnt until he passed a trailer test ..You will have to do the hunt terriers on foot LOL
riohog 5,729
my understanding is as allready said, if you passed your test in recent years you cannot pull a trailor until you pass a test for towing and them the total weight must not exede 3.5ton .on a car licence. Hawkeye. 26
Where does it show what licence I have?
chezney 44
Walking is from the past time why walk when you can get there by machine
bert69 5
You can tow up to 750kg unbraked no problem, so if you got a small garden trailer that just fits your quad you will be fine, though to be honest just do your test mate, cost me about 250 quid, that was 2 hours training and the test but i had been towing illegally for 8 years oblivious to the law.
