waidmann 105 Posted May 19, 2012 Report Share Posted May 19, 2012 It is part of the trials for gsp in Germany to retrieve a fox over an obstacle so it is very likely the picture is real lol This is in part the reason that German hpr have been increasing in size and stature over the last 20 years or so ( the time that I have been around working dogs really, mainly in Germany ) A nice picture all the same. Waidmannsheil Your spot on,They get tested on wild boar to.Ive a gwp bitch what 75lb in weight so a 20lb or so fox shouldn't be a problem for em cracking picture 2 Quote Link to post

waidmann 105 Posted May 23, 2012 Report Share Posted May 23, 2012 How much would a fox weigh? I thought my lab was pretty strong but a fox would weigh a few kg wouldn't it? Impressive if real. Minimum weights for foxes at the trial are I think 6 kilogram, no more than a decent hare. Quote Link to post
