Kay 3,709
about 2 weeks .i,l try and get some pics , but dont know how to post . Bloody hell assuming it took 10 days or so for her to come out of season properly that means if she is pregnant she only has about 2 to 3 weeks left to go Oh flipping heck well theres not a lot you can do now if she is Quote Link to post
darren m 1
she was out of season by the second day that i had her , i think shes just a greedy bugger do you think i,m overfeeding her ( diet in above post ) ???. always seems hungry. Quote Link to post
skycat 6,173
Jills stay in season until either they are mated or the days get shorter (autumn), so if your'e saying that the jill came out of season just after you got her I would think she'd been mated: also, stringy clear discharge is usual in most mammals just prior to giving birth (several days depending on species) It is the remains of the cervical plug which blocked the entrance to the uterus to protect the developing young during pregnancy. I dont think your over feeding her, if she is pregnant she will eat lots anyway , but i agree she has been brought out of season by one method or another, as Skycat sayes they dont naturally come out of season until the days are shorter later on in the year Feed her as you are doing, dont reduce her intake, she must be hungry or she wouldnt eat , one thing to bare in mind is ,stashing food, check her cage all over as she could be stashing it Quote Link to post

You won't have to do owt. If and when she has a litter, we'll go from there. owdarse Quote Link to post
darren m 1
no signs of anything yet , i reckon this must be a phantom although she is still nest building , i put my hand in the nest box and she nipped my finger . strange - usually real friendly . anyway took her out and checked the box , nothing there . odd thing is while handling her she climbed on to my shoulder and bit my ear lobe just a nip . very strange behavier indeed. anyway handled her again this morning and she was fine .
