Millet 4,497 Posted March 25, 2012 Report Share Posted March 25, 2012 Im at a loss here..for some strange reason one my terrier's has decided to get gunk filled eye's every morning..he has a draft free kennel in the garage and nothing as changed..but can i fook get rid of it..when it happen's normaly a few clean's with luke warm water sort's it out after a day or two..but hishas been going on for over a week now and every morning green pussy gunk is back in his eye's.. I bought a tube of Chloramphenicol 1.0% w/w Antibiotic Eye Ointment, made by I Care , from the local chemist £4. Problem sorted. Quote Link to post Share on other sites

paulus 26 Posted March 28, 2012 Report Share Posted March 28, 2012 optrx infected eye will do the trick contains Chloramphenicol as the active ingrediant administer every 2hrs the first day,every 4 hrs the second, every 8 hrs the 3rd then every 12hrs untill the end of the fifth day by then it should be cleared up. I did not get chance to use it yesterday but just as thing's go in my life he come out the kennel this morning with clear eye's.. ..i have it now though incase it come's back and the stuff i got has that chemical in what you mentioned Paulus. If you had gone to the vets they would of gave you same stuff but your wallet would of been about 10 times lighter Quote Link to post Share on other sites
