Venum 10
Seen these... Deerhunter Sneaky 3D, comes in two parts, jacket and trousers, ain't had hands or eyes on myself but for 70 pounds they don't look too bad at all, you can get a few different styles from other brands, like the jack pyke trousers have slits in so you can get hands in pockets, might be worth putting a post in the air rifle section to see if you can get an educated opinion or a review? Was thinking of getting a set myself but am not a 100%, maybe if your wanting to try and make your own ghille you could try the suit and if its not what your after you could us it as a base to start from, I know that 70 pound for a base is a bit steep but I really don't know how good they are as they come :/ Just an idea, hope it helps? B.P.R 2,798
made my own when i done the sniper course... few different ways...boiler suit, combats etc.... we just used a 'fishnet' chest rig....and camo trousers. a variety of materials....hessien (sandbag)...scrim netting...camouflage netting and a bit of spray. tied it, sewn it, glued it all on...randomly...... rip it up....let it weather...spray it a little.... all i have left from the course is my helmet which i havent touched since.... the more you use it...the more it weathers...the better it looks... Guest scramble
A simple cloak will be easy to throw together. Pulling them sandbags apart strand by strand is a fooking nightmare Quote Link to post
B.P.R 2,798
you can buy hessien strin on the roll..... by grabbing a handfull and tying it onto the suit ir gives a good effect.... sandbag bits fray over time and look a lot more natural...as does the scrim. a face veil made out of scrim is superb. good thing about scrim.... is that it picks up natural debris as you go... twigs..leaves etc. natural camo is by far the best.... as long as your shapes hidden...nothing shiny.... your not silhouetted....and not casting a noticeable shadow..... you should be fine.
