Grand looking dog that, i used to work a Beddy x Black n tan going back about 30 years ago, today they,d call it a Lakey or fell cross Beddy, anyhow it was bred to bring the size down [as Topper says] i used mine for flushing to my running dog, the rest of the litter went to digging lads but TBH i dont know if they made the grade as i didnt see hide nor hair of them after my mate sold them but mine did every thing i ask,d of him, ATB.
