Brilliant service from Deben...

Recommended Posts

Had a great bit of service from Deben this week.

Contacted them on Tuesday as one of my mark 3m collars had stopped working.

The collar was about 18 months old so out of warranty.

Anyway a fella called Paul asked me to return it so it went tuesday morning and thursday afternoon a package arrived.

Deben had sent me a brand new collar module to replace the old broken one.

Superb Deben big thumbs up!

they did same for me with one that wasnt working..it wasnt out of waranty though..but I did get it back within a week..They also posted a note attached saying the batteries were of a low standard and held very little charge/power..although they were new batts when i sent the collar in.. they were cheap fleebay batts with the same code as originals but obviously shitty standard ones.. maybe theres a diff in using good quality batts also . . . ?

PS..where do you buy the reccomended decent quality batts... ?

I can tell you that the Reciever doesnt last long on shitty poundland battery..your much better off with a Duracel.

Regarding the batteries I had what I believed were good silver oxide 394 batteries as they should be but when this new collar came back it didnt like them at all. I'm sticking to rayovac ones from now on.

Should be about £7 posted for 10 from eBay so that will do 5 collars for a season.

Regarding the receiver I have always used Duracell and never had any problems, other than when i forgot to turn it off once and went out with a flat battery :-0

i always youse duracell in box,,, you can get some that have a battery tester on the cardboard packaging,,,so i always test them in the shop befor i pay for them.................the ones with the tester cost more,, so i just take a standard duracell out of the packaging,,,, and test it on the more expencive ones tester

I had a good service from Deben a couple of years ago. I emailed them requesting a quote for a dial sticker for the mk1, few days later I was opening the post and they had sent me two spares free of charge! Good work Deben.
