what about if you had a driving test or any other type of exam?
done loads of exams over the years, same applies.....get up early, do your revision or whatever for the first half of the day with plenty of short breaks (i.e. 10 mins per hour), and then the second half of the day go fishing and just forget all about it, you'll sleep like a log that night, when you go back to it the day after your brain will be ready to go again  Don't do it the other way round though, you're always buggered after a few hours of fresh air!

Yeh I never revised in the evening. Morning and early afternoon for work and evening for me. Worked a treat.

2 things for me.......first is sitting in the dark alone and putting on some nice soft music ( Jean Michele Jarre sort of carry on ) :icon_redface: and getting completely lost in the constantly moving underwater picture of the aquarium......second is to set off on my own across some nice scenery and just walk, and walk, and walk concentrating on your breathing and simply soaking up the countryside........

Nothing worse than having pent up nervous energy with no way to release it.......you just got to find what works for you.

Rock climbing sounds a good one. I like to go for a long walk then just sit somewhere nice n quiet for a while before heading back. I sit for aslong as I can untill I start thinking too hard about things, then its time to head back. I worry about alot of things n alot find myself thinking too much about stupid things n start going over n over about it in my head! Drives me nutsfool.gif

This is my busy time of year, will be lambing in a couple of weeks time and also started a veg garden, cleaning out a sheep shed by hand as well, and doing lots of ferrying around of feed, fertiliser etc.

By the time my day is done I don't have the f'ing energy to worry about things, hot bath, feed, and tell the rest of the world to go f**k themselves to be honest. We'll all be a long time dead.
