RubyTex 1,957
Just fuel, probably going to get rid of the car as it's becoming a liability. Paid nearly £200 for my car tax this year, last year £40bn was raised by the government with only £7bn of that spent on the roads! More money on fuel and more money on booze will just make me get pissed at home and not go out and spend money. The government can suck on my titties.

gnasher16 30,024
I don't smoke but I drink, putting the cost of beer up hasn't stopped me drinking beer, it just means I drink more in the house rather than go to the pub....so all they've done is punished the people who run pubs, hence the reason why more and more are shutting down. It's yet another traditional part of this country gone down the pan! Where ever you go these days you see boarded up pubs, and they're being replaced by crappy brewers fayres etc. that are basically just shit restaurants rather than proper pubs, well sad to see! Absolutely.....i dont drink but i still love a good traditional pub,im the fairy mincing about with a glass of orange .......sadly traditional locals are few and far between these days but its as much the areas traditional pubs tend to be in rather than the tradition itself or the money......lets face it you dont see many " Prince of Wales " or " The Red Lion " in Bangladesh and the like so stands to reason certain areas of Britain are going to struggle to maintain those British traditions.....cant entirely blame the budget for that. Rake aboot 4,935
The reduction in the upper tax rate means fuckall, folk who earn over 150 grand don`t pay full tax anyway,, they pay an accountant to cheat there way out of their tax responsability,, sticking it to the rest of us. Gave up drinking in the pub years ago. I got into this game when I was young and skint to fill my families freezer,, won`t be long till I HAVE to start doing it for that reason again,, and I`m on a good wage,, Tax,, b*****ds,, and they hand it all out to dole cheats. Fuel, not even going there, makes me weep sometimes.
WILF 46,549
Mate, I bet if you had the facts, the amount of people having a tickle on the jam roll is a piss in the ocean compared to what they piss away on Europe, the NHS , bailing out Ireland and Greece and all the other old bollocks they spend your money on.......they just want you to think about " dole cheats" cause it makes folk angry and diverts attention away from the real wastes of our money
Rake aboot 4,935
30% of my tax goes on Welfare payments. I agree with the welfare state, it`s why I pay tax, and it`s why I hate self employed tax avoiders and big earners who hide their money, same as folk who take cash in hand only, to avoid contributing their social responsibility. But what I don`t agree with is ANYONE sponging off the dole, welfare system, thats immigrants and British cheats alike. Or indeed handing out my money to foriegn countries when Britain is struggling. But the foriegners are far away in other countries,, The dole cheats are laughing in my face, in my own country.
