gnasher16 30,025
I know im going to sound like a right dry lunch but i dont think its a bad thing fags and beer going up........we,re constantly being bombarded with whats good and whats bad for us so only right the things that are bad for us are made more difficult to get. Its the fuel one that annoys me.
PlasticJock 539
Yeah Gnash but according to the radio the other day red meat is bad for you If they legalised cannabis for personal consumption in the home we wouldn't be half as bad off, and I don't even smoke it!

Its the fuel one that annoys me. I don't smoke but I drink, putting the cost of beer up hasn't stopped me drinking beer, it just means I drink more in the house rather than go to the pub....so all they've done is punished the people who run pubs, hence the reason why more and more are shutting down. It's yet another traditional part of this country gone down the pan! Where ever you go these days you see boarded up pubs, and they're being replaced by crappy brewers fayres etc. that are basically just shit restaurants rather than proper pubs, well sad to see!

rob190364 2,594
the increase in the income tax allowance is purely to keep the masses quiet while they reward themselves by cutting the top end tax rate
foxfan 479
Another charade to keep the herd believing that they live in a free country.
PlasticJock 539
Keep the lower classes turning the wheels, whilst letting the richer have it a lot easier. Working classes believe that someday they will be rich, having something to aim for. REALITY ----- With the amount of money paid to the gangsters oops I mean government, not many have a chance of being comfortable. Ever. My grandparents worked all their life but can only put the hot water on once a week. It's a big board game and we are all being moved about
