Otherwise Bang On Tony The thing with the law I don't understand is that if your 18 you can legally transport your rifle and hold and rifle and shotgun licence (I think) but can not transport an air rifle for someone else? It is the reason I said adult as I would assume that it would be his parents transporting the gun and his to his permission Lewis Quote Link to post
Phantom 631
Not sure about the Rifle and Shotty laws, but it wouldn't suprise me though! British shooting laws are a bigger ass than my mothers and that takes a few postcodes for each cheek! Tony Quote Link to post
Lukehunt 15
what do you mean insurance? Quote Link to post
StevoSmith 147
Lukehunt it is advised that you get public liability insurance incase of a mishap.....you may require your parents to get this insurance for you as some companys require 18+ and so on....not sure about Countryside Alliance insurance i think they do it for 16 yo...best thing to do is look into it....you may not need insurance for your permission but i would strongly advise you do mate....also im now insured with Sporting Shooter who seem quite good....not the same as BASC but do the same job....only reason i didnt go with them this year was funds but i need insurance for caravan parks i shoot on Quote Link to post
