Mixture of everything

I know its not the season but when someone gives you permission you grab the opportunity . longdogrunner and me were invited by whin off here to go and help him with his rabbit problem, there were so many rabbits I couldnt believe my eyes We started off with ferrets and had the lurchers to catch them, then we did a bit of shooting followed by lamping at night. The ground was tough going for the dogs at times and there were a few minor injuries sustained which rest will heal. It was a great day and I only showed myself up once when I didnt let Bruce loose when there was a rabbit tearing past The only downside was longdogrunner losing a ferret to ground she had got two rabbits before disappearing, we went back several times and longdogrunner dug to try and get her but to no avail . Whin is going to try and find her though so fingers crossed. he night ended with a visit from the police who thought we were poaching, lucky for us we had permission and one of whin's dogs jumped in their car for a look Big thanks for a great days sport to whin and Longdogrunner who kept me right all day.

Lost count after the morning, prob about 30 all told though.

glad you enjoyed, no luck with ferret yet, lanas back to normal caught several rabbs with her and mhirn last night , no ferret yet but will look every night and maybe set some catch alive traps etc with fresh meat , funny ole pic not the first time the dogs have been in a polis car , thta was tyne not tess but whT THE HELL I SAYS TO THEM OR HER BEST BIT OF FRESH MEAT YOULL GET , ill need to start being more laid back with them but cant change had to may run ins over the years ,, found my ferret collars so very happy , feching fliting a nightmare to find stuff all the best

didnt have collars as there packed away some were with the house flitting had to go through boxes to find them yesterday but got them so ill be giving the rabbs a hard time etc
