I had a buddy who has a jagds and working pit bulls. He had a very hot jagd (as a result, the badger killed him on hunt), which he used to rolled young small-sized pits and jagd dominated and caused them big problems. But these are not always related things. There were cases when a poorly working dog killed a strong hunter in a occasional fight. You need to look at what the dog is bred for, only there you need to watch the game.

Even the working type good ones aint game or hard i wouldnt say there just numb lol. Its basically a mongrel aint it they do have a good nose and the wind on some of them is decent but comparing them to bulldogs is abit silly. Any good bull terrier will carry bulldog blood in its recent breeding anyway

I forget the guy's name Glynn or similar at Ingles rock. Didn't he have a seizure or something and his English bulls started chewing on him?

I've seen a few nutters in the breed over the years.

Some nonsense on here. "bulldog" men getting their knickers in a twist at working terriers being regarded as "game" dogs. Akin to a greyhound man getting upset with lurcher lads thinking their dogs are fast. It is the HUNTING Life.

Not heard that but he breeds some nice English bulls from what I’ve seen

Isn't it that a dog is not truly game unless it is dead game and that means dying fighting and the end of the line. The gamest live dog can only be considered deeply game at best but I think you can call a lot of different animals game, it's not exclusively a bulldog term.

10 years ago, I asked an old breeder if there were any dogs with a pit bull game among terriers. He replied that there are still such lines among the jagd terriers. Where breeders hard check dogs, they make five dog starts for a badger, each time changing a badger for a fresh one.

And more. The bulldog is a stubborn dog, but his work comes from herding. Therefore, the goal of the bulldog is to subdue the bull. The killer instinct is based on the hunting instinct. It's from a terrier.

p.s. the bullterrier was born as a show dog now a show.
