Guest markbrick1
Just a few points here. 1. What a shame that this thread has been hijacked by a couple of jingoistic swivel eyed rascists (Swamper, just ask if you want to know what "jingoistic" means. 2. It is not Scotlands , Wales or Irelands fault if England has lost its national identity. I ask you why do you celebrate St Paddies day more than your own patron saint St George? (incidently, St George himself was actually an ASIAN - how very ironic) 3. Smudger Smith - check out your own ancestry, as an Anglo Saxon you may not be as "English" as you think, (the Royal family are German after all) There is something sadly disturbing about your rantings "Smudger" it seems to me that you have are using an overdeveloped sense of national identity to cover up more than a few fears. 4. Swamper, most of the Scots, Welsh and Irish on these boards have a better command of the English language than you, - you have spelled the word Immigrants wrongly on quite a few occasions. 5. Nelson - Al Murray, as his name would suggest, is of Scottish ancestry. I have lived in England for over 20 years now, my kids speak with English accents, they even like f*****g cricket . I have never had a problem with anyone down here over my nationality, so I can only assume that this kind of crap you two are spouting is not the norm. I have my own concerns regarding defending our shores from the tide of immigrants. But to blame Scots, Welsh and Irish for thisjust makes no sense. If you are not happy about the immigration problems in the UK, I suggest that you try to affect a change through the ballot box, ranting about this on a HUNTING forum will change nothing. Here endeth the lesson. iam english worked and lived all around the globe and i came back as i remembered a great country, but this country is f****d we dont stand togeather and we cant live side by side mark

smudgersmith 2
David, I may have a bit of Saxon and a bit of this and that somewhere thats fine, but if us English b*****ds don't start standing up for our way of life, traditions and sense of identity no one will. And if it means having to put a few F*cks in who cares, it worth it. And the last time I checked, it was our Royal Family. Rant over,
Sako.243 1
I think you will find that Scotlands North sea oil and Natural gas have been propping up the English economy since the 1970's.
