Is it right that nikwax tent canvas waterproofer will be ok to use on a jacket like the Carhartt chore jack?

Tent Canvas,Paint on stuff O.K.,use it on my Overalls,Jkts, Tousers,dont use the Chemical stuff,stinks to high heaven,You'll be clearing game before your even near them !! If you like Canvas ,Upland hunting search get you more hits,Briar Bibs,Trousers etc ,Got Protective cover over front up to thighs abit like chaps ,but already attached.In winter a one piece Coverall,with a snap on hood ideal, Duck Canvas the NEW REALTREE .l.o.l. Iv'e got an Upland Hunter Jkt.with internal game pocket,that comes in handy Old school 1950's Hunting,,,Just pop a plaid hat an Vest on ,proper Elmer Gear,, :laugh: Works for me

To answer your question, yes it's good to use nikwax canvas tent waterproof wash in on your carhartts . Give em a wash with soap to clean em first. Then second go round wash no soap, then third wash drop the nikwax wash in with em.
