Guest world.hunters
Storm is progressing every day and im very pround of him, i have been doing some more training with him and also incorperating with "down" command and also jump retrieving, he is also retrieving to hand more often now, hopefully if all goes as it he will be a very good dog as he gets older, and the training will play a big role when he accompanies me out shooting aswell. heres another video for all to see hope you enjoy. shepp 2,285
I've been teaching my pup to retreive this weekend, she's eight weeks. She seems to do it quite naturally for the first two or three goes then gets bored so i leave it there. Had to stop her barking at me and running away too, quick grab, a little shake and a hard no. I then made her sit next to me for a couple of minuites, i think it's sinking in. Hard to get the balance with giving them confidence but still letting them know boss. Quote Link to post
OldTrapCollector 377
WH, He is coming along nicely - you can see the collie in him coming out with that cat-like sneaking up on the dummy. Try not to do too much in a session otherwise he might get bored and start nasty habits like walking off with the dummy, or putting it down Nice, pretty looking dog though. OTC Quote Link to post
