Its always a gamble even if you wait three months till you use him on one jill and she doesn't have kits  They dont always get the operation right

Well how long ago did you get ures done? And evenr i kno that 2 weeks would be pushing it!

January mate and to be fair he's always kept ferrets, done the op loads of times with only 2 failed and has always said if the jills take he'd redo the op for free and wouldn't see me out of pocket plus passes on all the rabbiting jobs that come through his practice of which I've had 3 so

far.

When getting my Hob snipped, my Vet read up on it, and said also six to eight weeks, his six weeks will be up on the 31st of March, so just hoping the op has been a success,

On reading the posts on this subject I would say the above time appears to be the norm, don't know if I should put him in on the first date, or wait the extra two Weeks, I expect the six weeks would be okay,

Any advice?

Maybe test him on one first doubt the rest will keel over in 42 days time best too be safe. Only done one of my jills the other will have too wait until I know. Bad enough having one unwanted litter put down let alone two.

Just following sound advice and common sense really off the forum here
